Bella Hadid is proving to be one of the most sought-after models on and off the runway. Versace chose Hadid to front its latest campaign for the Virtus collection, which recently enlisted her brother’s girlfriend, superstar Dua Lipa. The images are classic Versace — with a very 2021 twist. The new photos feature Hadid in a tiny cardigan, which has become a signature look for her. And, while she’s no stranger to showing skin beneath the revealing style, this time, she’s wearing a peekaboo bra with Versace’s signature gold Medusa-head logo on the strap.
Mert and Marcus shot the images and feature Hadid with a big ’60s hairdo and, of course, new Versace handbags. They’re black quilted styles with chain straps and bold V logos this time.
“The #VersaceVirtus collection takes its name from the Roman deity who represents strength and bravery. In the new campaign, @bellahadid channels her inner and outer goddess. “Along with the latest photos, the brand wrote. A large bangle and hoop earrings completed her ensemble.
In the first post, Hadid said, “An Honor every single time.”
While a Versace campaign is reason enough to rejoice, Hadid’s achievements do not end there. She’ll be fronting Michael Kors’ James Bond-inspired collection alongside Cindy Bruna, continuing their long-standing relationship. Consider it a dress rehearsal for Hadid’s upcoming role as a Bond girl, which she claims she channeled during the shoot.
“I admire each Bond girl’s independence and multifaceted personality,” Bella Hadid said in a statement. “She can be anyone or anything. It could be anywhere or nowhere. Classic, cool, and self-sufficient.”
