Britney Spears appeared to be having a great time in a new Instagram video that showed her freestyle dancing in her living room to Beyoncé’s 2013 hit Haunted.
The 39-year-old pop star flaunted her abs in a pair of microscopic black shorts and a white bralette top while busting a move at home.
‘THE SONG… HAUNTED…’ Ladies and gentlemen, it seemed like the MOST APPROPRIATE THING to post!!!’ She added captions to the video.

She added: ‘What do you guys think???!!! Psss if I’m haunting you, you must be haunting me — happy early Halloween folks!!!!!’

The Grammy winner twirled around and tossed her hair in the air throughout the recording, looking completely at ease.
Fans immediately noticed the joy in her eyes, which some have claimed has dwindled over the years due to her restrictive conservatorship.

‘Providing pure JOY!!!’ It’s wonderful to see you smiling, B! This is going to be such a fantastic year for you, and it has been a long time coming!’ One of her fans made a remark.
‘There’s something back in your eyes!’ exclaimed another. ‘It makes me happy to see how happy and better you are every day.’
Britney Spears revealed on Instagram earlier this week that she was working on a novel about a woman who becomes a ghost after being murdered.
“I’m writing a book about a girl who was murdered, but her ghost is trapped in limbo due to trauma and pain, and she has no idea how to cross over to the world she used to know!!!!’ she revealed.
“After being stuck in limbo for three years, she is a ghost who thrives off of her reflection in her mirror for existence!!!!’ the mother of two continued.
‘She has no one she can trust, but something happens, and she figures out how to cross over to the world where her family is,’ Britney Spears said of the protagonist. When she emerges from the limbo, she must choose between greeting the same people who murdered her and starting a new life.’

Britney and her mother Lynn co-wrote the young adult novel A Mother’s Gift, which was published in 2001.
After winning a prestigious music scholarship, 14-year-old Holly Faye Lovell leaves her small town in Mississippi for the big city in the book, which is loosely based on Spears’ own life.
The singer and her mother also worked together on the 2000 film Heart To Heart, which was about Britney’s own rise to fame.
Spears’ storey appears to be inspired by her own saga, as she has been ‘trapped’ for the past 13 years under the supervision of a conservatorship.
Her father was recently removed from his position as conservator of her estate.

News Britney’s legal team plans to depose her father and security manager, who allegedly monitored and recorded the pop princess in her bedroom, according to an exclusive report from DailyMail.com published on Friday.
According to a source close to the high-profile conservatorship court case, Britney’s lawyer, Mattclahew Rosengart, will soon issue subpoenas and conduct oath interviews with Jamie Spears and Robin Greenhill.
According to the source, the attorney plans to question them about alleged ‘financial mismanagement and dissipation of funds,’ as well as ‘the monitoring and recording of her phone and the placement of a listening device under her bed.’
The legal wrangling over Britney’s conservatorship case has intensified after a security guard hired by her father confessed to the shocking snooping, which he claims was carried out on Jamie’s orders, in a New York Times documentary.

According to Jamie’s lawyer, everything he did was “well within the parameters of the authority conferred upon him by the court.”
The documentary’s allegations were the second of a devastating two-punch to Britney’s father, who was stripped of his conservatorship with immediate effect on September 29 by a Los Angeles judge, following months of legal arguments by Rosengart to remove him from his position.
‘Now that Matt has the big win on Wednesday, he’s deposing Jamie Spears and looking into Tri Star and Robin Greenhill in particular,’ according to the source.
‘He will subpoena Robin Greenhill and take her deposition.’ It will be announced in the next 30 days or so.’
According to the source, Rosengart will question Spears about how she managed to amass such a small fortune despite working tirelessly for years on hit songs performed in front of millions of fans.

‘It would be into alleged financial mismanagement – a net worth of $60 million isn’t as large as one might think,’ the source said.
The lawyer will also question Greenhill under oath about Alex Vlasov, Britney’s former security manager, who claims he received mirrored texts and communications from her phone.
Vlasov, a former Black Box Security employee who said he worked with the singer’s team for nearly nine years, claimed the company had access to Spears’ phone and installed a listening device in her bedroom in his book Controlling Britney Spears.
According to the security guard, Spears’ father was in constant contact with the team, which was monitoring her every move.
‘Edan, [Tri Star employee] Robin [Greenhill], Jamie, and security had a group chat where they would basically post all of the movement,’ Vlasov claimed.
He told the filmmakers that he was asked to encrypt some of Spears’ text messages so that they could be sent to her father and an employee of a business management firm he hired.
Greenhill works for Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group, a business management firm hired by Jamie to handle the pop star’s estate administration.
The allegations, according to a lawyer for the company, are “not true.”

‘Ms. Greenhill was only involved in Ms. Spears’ security to the extent that Ms. Spears requested it, as well as Tri Star’s role in issuing the payments to the security company,’ the attorney said, but did not respond to questions about whether Greenhill received the texts.
Britney seems overjoyed with her newfound freedom, praising her lawyer in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
She wrote, “Thankfully, I found an amazing attorney Matthew Rosengart who has helped change my life!!!!”
The singer went on to make a thinly veiled attack on her father and others who held her back.
‘I recommend that if you have a friend who has been living in a house that feels cramped for four months… I don’t have a car… I don’t have a phone… There is no privacy door, and they must work around 10 hours a day, seven days a week, and give tonnes of blood every week with no days off… I strongly advise you to pick up your friend and get them out of there as soon as possible!!!!! If you’re anything like my family, who says things like’sorry, you’re in conservatorship…’ They’re probably thinking you’re unique so they can f**k with you!!!’
