Zendaya has re-entered the spotlight, and she is being praised for her sharp sense of style.
The actress, born in Oakland, California, posed for the November cover of InStyle magazine, which featured the Best Dressed List as its theme.
The actress, promoting her epic action film Dune, also expressed her admiration for her boyfriend and Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland, describing him as a “perfectionist” who works extremely hard at his craft.

The former teen sensation said she admires a lot of things about the British actor.
She appreciates that he loves being Spider-Man in an ‘actor way.’
‘It’s a lot of pressure because you have to act like a superhero everywhere you go.’ You are Spider-Man to the little kid passing by. ‘I think he handled it well,’ the cover girl said.

She also revealed what he’s like away from the camera, describing him as a perfectionist.
‘Watching him work, even though he’s not a Virgo [laughs], he’s a perfectionist,’ the siren said.
‘Our director let me come in every day [of the shoot], and it was inspiring to see how passionate he is about his work and making it perfect.’

‘I spent the entire day watching him do a fight scene, which was exhausting. “I can do that better,” he’d say after making a move and returning to the monitors to watch it. “Dude, you got it,” I’d say, but he wants us to be perfect, which I appreciate.’
The red carpet regular also revealed that she never expected to be a part of the franchise.
‘I had no idea that was going to happen.’ When I was 16, I went to see Spider-Man on my first date. ‘The one with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone,’ Zendaya explained.
Zendaya also admitted to having insecurities and being afraid of making mistakes and messing up.’

‘Not being the best I can be at something hurts me,’ she said.
‘Failure,’ according to the fashion expert, is something she despises.
‘Again, that’s a Virgo thing,’ the star explained. If something isn’t perfect or the best, I feel like I should not have done it at all. Even if it was beautiful, I turned it into the worst thing possible. But it doesn’t sit well with me.’
The film Dune is up next.
‘We’ll wait and see what the rest of the world thinks.’ ‘However, I had a great time,’ said the designer.
Denis Villeneuve, she said, is one of the “most extraordinary filmmakers we have.”
‘He’s just so consistent and thoughtful,’ Zen added. I enjoyed working with him, even though it was only for a short time. We’ll see how the first one goes, but I’m up for doing another. I’ll be there whenever they need me. [Co-star] Timothée [Chalamet] is a phenomenal actor and a wonderful person; he’s become a member of my family.’

Zendaya wants to be a director; she said when asked what she would change in the industry.
‘I want to be able to make my things.’ I want to make films that give young up-and-coming artists, writers, and filmmakers a platform because it’s not a lack of talent; it’s a lack of opportunity, especially for Black talent.
‘I’d like to provide those opportunities by pairing aspiring filmmakers with various writers and mentorships, connecting them with the actors they want to cast in their films, and forging those special bonds.’ ‘Also, make sure they’re paid and looked after.’

‘Even with photoshoots, I’m now at the point where I can request photographers to work with,’ says the executive.
‘However, if I hadn’t chosen them, I would have never had the opportunity to work with Black photographers — which, in my opinion, is disgraceful. I consider myself fortunate to be able to discover new talent or collaborate with people as talented as [InStyle photographers] Ahmad [Barber] and Donté [Maurice]. AB+DM took the photos.
She wore several wigs and heavy makeup for the shoot, which obscured her natural beauty. She was unrecognisable in some of the photos.
The interview will appear in the November issue of InStyle, which will be on newsstands on October 22.
