Despite the fact that our cupboards are stacked with a ton of sweaters, pants and various accessories, we accept that they are reaching themselves again for the same old times and times – sometimes, even That outfits repeat from head to toe. After all, it is impossible to top the last time we wear that combo, or we have realized that those items are completely joined together.
Even well-known women like Kate Middleton know how to wear outfits, and now, apparently, Kendall Jenner is also trending.
When we saw the model in NYC wearing a stunning combination of a white turtleneck, brown sweater, khaki pants and loafers, we were immediately reminded of a grandfather – in a really good way. Many of today’s top trends are derived from our elders – dad shirts, mom jeans, pretty much anything with golden girls, etc. – and despite being made up of basics, Jenner’s attire was not predictable. It had a ’90s feel to it thanks to earth tones, layering, and Lug-Soul shoes, and certainly made a statement.
Then, however, we realized something. Jenner wore the exact same look as her mask when she was out in Brooklyn on November 20, just a few weeks earlier.
Jenner believed she was on vacation with her family in Lake Tahoe, perhaps she just wanted something easy to wear and reliable, and this certainly fits the bill. This is a combination that never gets old and looks super sleek. We will definitely be thinking about Jenner’s look for what we want to wear next time – and the time after that as well.
