While the entire city of Los Angeles is in lockdown, the Kardashians are on vacation at Lake Tahoe. I reported this week that the entire family rented a property in the area for a three-day vacation, as they filmed scenes for the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
“The Kardashians spent three nights at Edgewood Tahoe filming the show,” a source told Outlets. “They had some kids and they were all playing outside and they sat by the fire and roasted marshmallows. They also went ice skating at a private rink. They enjoyed a hot chocolate bar and held a large fireworks display over the lake at night.”
Although they moved out of town before the California new home stay order went into effect, the famous family still violated the rules regarding non-essential travel and many families gathered – something they also did when celebrating Thanksgiving at Chris Jenner’s home in Palm Springs. Before the holiday, the CDC recommended that people from separate homes not spend their day together, as it increases the chances of the spread of COVID-19. In addition, California urged its residents not to travel “long distances for vacation or fun” for months.
This isn’t the first time that the Kardashians have broken government guidelines. Back in October, Kim leased a private island in Tahiti for her 40th birthday, flying not only with her family, but also a large group of friends aboard private jets for a six-day vacation. A week later, Kendall found herself in hot water after hosting a massive Halloween party to celebrate her 25th birthday, during which guests were photographed not wearing masks.
Shortly after the public protest, Chris came to defend her daughter during an episode of Radio Andy, and told host Andy Cohen, “In Kendall, everyone was tested before they entered the door and had to wait half an hour until … the results came in. So we’re responsible. Really, and we make sure everyone in our family and close friends gets religiously tested.
